]]> http://youngadultbookreviews.com/2011/05/02/boost-by-kathy-mackel/#comment-2561 Sat, 04 Feb 2012 20:58:26 +0000 http://youngadultbookreviews.com/?p=804#comment-2561 i am 12 years old and i absolutely love this book! this book reminds me of my story… it reminds me of well how do i put this “me”…. besides getting caught with pills that has never happen but we run into the same problems… with coaches and teamamtes and family. its like i was ment to read this book. i am in love with basketball from the very beginning, i played basketball in fourth grade and i was the best on the team i was #1 i was perfect now im playing on a team where i am a 7grader and there are 8 graders and im used to being mean/tough but now im a little sissy becasue i feel like if i make a mistake im gonna get picked on from the other girls well anyways my coach died unexpectedly in 4 grade and i didnt want to play basketball anymore but then i relized that i want to show her i am still the way i was so i decided to play again and i feel like im letteing her down. well i had a game today and we won 37 to 29 and i made 4 points but if i was still mean/tough like i was all those points would’ve been mine :/ I LOVE THIS BOOK I JUST MADE MY MOM BUY IT FOR ME!!! <3
